To AI or Not To AI

There’s been a lot of noise around ChatGPT/AI lately and rightly so. It seems like information is introduced on a daily basis and it can be overwhelming to keep up.

Based on our last poll, it’s comforting to know that most people are not afraid of AI taking their job.?

With that said, last month, Henley Wing Chiu published his findings on the adoption rate of ChatGPT Enterprise at approximately 5% of the Fortune 500. That’s roughly 25 companies who have incorporated ChatGPT and as a comparison, ~400 out of the Fortune 500 have adopted Salesforce.?

It shows there are big gains to be made, but also appears that there is some hesitancy to fully include ChatGPT at an enterprise level. I believe that once more trust is gained and structure around how it will be used, AI will be a viable tool as a feature of the tools currently in place.?

For example, you can utilize AI to help draft an email within Gmail, which can really help when you’re looking at a blinking cursor trying to come up with something other than “I hope this email finds you well”.
