After talking with colleagues from corporate giants to the bustling open spaces of startups, I've discovered that change management practitioners everywhere are quietly (or not so quietly) grappling with the specter of GenAI, with some even questioning their career choices.

In today's world, where GenAI is rapidly changing many jobs, change management experts face mixed feelings. The quote above is not the only one I’ve heard. Other colleagues share similar worries about our identity, value, and the core of our work.
I’ve heard (and had?) many of the fears, including losing our skills, having less human interaction, financial security, and the ethics of AI making decisions.
This article isn't just about being scared. It's about using our knowledge to deal with these new challenges. I’m sharing three practical suggestions for each fear. These solutions aren't just to deal with AI but also to help us do even better, using technology to improve our human touch.
