AI in Business: More Than Just ChatGPT—The Big Picture
Using ChatGPT to be more effective is great—but it’s just the beginning. Yes, every employee in our organization needs to be leveraging generative AI, but as leaders, we have to think bigger. Looking ahead 5 to 10 years, AI won’t just be a tool we use occasionally; it will be embedded in our systems, processes, growth strategies, and people plans.
I’m all about people. I believe in the power of human connection, strong teams, and great leadership. But the reality is, digital workers are coming—sooner than we think. That’s a little unsettling, but it’s also a huge opportunity. The question is, are we planning for it?
Mike Walsh recently wrote a great article for Harvard Business Review on AI agents and how much supervision they need. As AI becomes more autonomous, we need to figure out how much oversight is necessary to balance efficiency with responsibility. You can check it out here.
The future of work isn’t just about adopting AI—it’s about strategically designing organizations where human talent and AI can work together. If we wait until AI is fully integrated everywhere, we’ll be playing catch-up. Now is the time to plan, experiment, and get ahead of the curve.
How is your company thinking about AI beyond ChatGPT? Would love to hear your thoughts.

3 周Spot on! AI isn’t just a tool we pull out now and then—it’s becoming a core part of how we build teams, streamline operations, and drive serious growth. In my work within sales leadership, we’re already seeing AI elevate decision-making, sharpen coaching, and personalize training at scale. But as you mentioned, the real game-changer isn’t just using AI—it’s leading in a world where AI can elevate human ingenuity and talent, and work together to produce more valuable and helpful results for real world challenges and opportunities. With one of my product brands “Sellership,” we’re all about helping sales managers step up as true strategic leaders. And that means equipping them to lead not just people, but AI-driven systems, too. The future of sales leadership won’t just belong to those who use AI—it will belong to those who know how to lead in an AI-powered world. Thanks for your thoughtful article. Make it a great day! ????
