AI is one of those platform technologies like the Internet or email that will continue to permeate many things we do in marketing, in business, and in life.
But AI isn't everything.
We still need a strategy, revenues, profits, relationships ... AI might help us ideate and create more intelligently and effectively, but it is still our assistant, not the main character.
I WILL have a dedicated chapter on AI, and it will be featured throughout the book, but what companies today need with their marketing isn't more AI, but more alignment in their marketing with the digital-first world we live in today.
