Is AI becoming the truth of the future?

I have seen it firsthand enough already, and I am convinced that Artificial Intelligence not only helps recruiters use the power of data to make better decisions in the hiring/onboarding processes but also forces them to stay sharp and on top of their talent acquisition hunting game from a slightly different angle than before.

AI can effortlessly:

1. help with screening candidates,

2. assist recruiters in?sourcing processes,

3. effectively analyze the multitude of received CVs,

4. analyze an endless amount of submitted applications,

5. launch automation around scheduling interviews and communication efforts,

6. conduct targeted pre-qualification assessments,

7. help determine/define optimal cultural fit for the role,

8. reduce bias in making hiring decisions,

9. introduce chatbots to interact with the candidates before screenings with recruiters,

10. help predict how the candidate's success story will unfold.

Scary, huh?

Only if you aim for AI to replace what you have been doing thus far (and you may want to think twice before you do it).

In my opinion, to optimize the power of AI, recruiters should only use the accessibility to the AI-generated data to supplement their decision-making process and refrain from entirely replacing it.?We still need our "gut feelings" to rely on at times, as no role recruiters try to fill is ever a dry cut. We are heading towards a brighter and better future where the presence of AI is as necessary as the proper strategy that goes hand in hand with using it. As a result of the presence of AI, we will see fewer job markets saturated with specific profile fits and more traction in unlocking the equity in the equation. By focusing on candidates' adjacent skills and potential, AI will make them more discoverable in job markets they would not otherwise access.

Do not tell me this needs to be more exciting. It already sounds like a perfect recipe for optimization. And isn't that the effectiveness and more significant impact we all are looking for?

Anyone who has worked in recruitment knows that Talent Acquisition consists of a broad range of skills and various tasks. In other words, it calls for precise data assessment efficiency and top-notch organization, from attention to detail to a follow-through mindset. Despite the presence and introduction of AI to onboarding processes, recruiting is still largely dependent on a combination of human instinct, experience, and understanding. We cannot simply remove the human element from the recruiting process and entirely rely on AI.

The aim is to use the AI piece to simplify recruiters' work, free up time from tasks that can be automated, reduce the possibility of human error, and focus on the fancy word "enhancement." This is where hiring decisions can finally be made swiftly by recruiters/hiring managers and ultimately with a greater sense of confidence.

The truth is that AI is here to scale the overall TA efforts, from reducing cost, enhancing the experience, providing accurate analytics, scaling up collaboration opportunities, and better tailoring candidates' experience in the hiring processes, reducing time to hire to helping businesses take proactive measures to improve employee satisfaction and ultimately reduce turnover.

If you think the above sums it up, think twice, as this is just the beginning...

Let's emphasize that Talent Acquisition is instrumental to the success and longevity of any scalable business. Businesses should look at the recruitment process as not just a small piece of the puzzle but rather a piece that makes their organization whole (maybe you want to go back and read this twice).

A new hire can make or break any organization, from daily performance to company culture. That's why investing in effective hiring decisions is crucial for the long-term success of any business. One way to enhance these decisions is through artificial intelligence. AI can help businesses make data-driven hiring choices that ensure the best fit for their organization, therefore, investing in AI technology for hiring is a smart move that can benefit companies for years.

What if AI, as used in Talent Acquisition, is broken? What if it's not ready for primetime? What if inherent bias is programmed into the AI by the developer or through implementation? What if inherent bias is integrated into the material used to train the AI? It seems that AI is widely deployed by many companies today when it is still in its infancy. AI is a powerful tool that, when wielded appropriately, can do much good. But when used prematurely or without extensive testing, it can be catastrophic. I have been a job seeker for the last 8 months. Yes, I am over 50; yes, I am not the youngest or most certified person to apply for almost any job I apply for. But, I have over 15 years of experience in my field. I have worked for some of the biggest names in the industry. Yet when I apply for jobs that I EXACTLY match, I still don't get callbacks. The only way I get interviews is to circumvent the standard process. So that leads me to ask, am I broken, or is there something new in the overall process that is broken? To get recognized through the standard application process, are we certain that the best candidates are being chosen, or are the candidates that are best at manipulating the system getting chosen? There is a difference.

AI would never replace the human factor, as language trends keeps constantly changing too ... I experience these changes every day during my daily work as a telephone interpreter at 911, the different languages and jargons expressed by clients in the medical, legal, commercial, immigration and social fields .... the language evolves day by day by zones, places and countries, and the forms of expression vary almost daily according to the different cultures, it is not possible to use a program that follows them accurately ... But even so, I wouldn't be surprised if they come up with a software that comes close ... But life is made of change and adaptation, so, go ahead ? ?? ?? ??

I would like to see how the AI translate words as "guagua"... Every latin country as their own way to call plane neutral words, and most of them are very unique... so I don′t think so.
