Future-proof your AI based digital publishing strategy in 2025

Last week we announced a number of major new features on the Purple platform. These will be available in 2025 to all our existing and new customers.

In addition to our existing features such as the AI editorial tools Purple Prompts, Entity Recognition, DAM, planning and Social Media tools, we will be adding a raft of new functionality to the Purple platform in early 2025.

The new features demonstrate our commitment to create new functionality requested by our clients, as well as ensuring that our Purple platform is the most robust flexible and robust digital publishing platform in the marketplace. Some of the new features includes the following:

?Content translations with DeepL

·????? Purple Hub now offers integrated DeepL translations, enabling quick and easy content translation with just a few clicks. Editors can perform individual or bulk translations directly within the Headless CMS editor, streamlining multilingual content management.

Purple SSO

·????? Purple SSO allows users to access the Purple Platform without remembering separate login data. Your team can now enjoy a simplified and unified experience across the Purple platform by using their existing corporate credentials. Purple SSO (Single Sign-On) integrated with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) is now available and enables seamless authentication with your corporate identity provider.

?Image Cropping - Perfect image fit across diverse layouts

·????? Purple Hub's Media Library now includes an Image Cropping feature, giving editors precise control over image display across formats. Users can crop, set focal points, and ensure images fit aspect ratios perfectly. Admins can manage preview sizes for flexible image presentation across platforms.

Purple Variants – Manage different versions of your content for different platforms

?·????? Purple Variants streamlines the management of article versions across platforms, allowing editors to create, edit, and distribute content for print, online, and other formats directly within Purple Hub. This feature enables seamless multi-platform integration without the need for separate systems, making it easy to adapt content for different audiences and formats.

Purple Wires 2.0 – Improved integration with 3rd party wire services

·????? Introducing Purple Wires 2.0, an enhanced feed service in Purple Hub for retrieving wire articles. Key updates include improved article previews, a modernized interface, preview text in list view, and word and character counts. Purple Wires 2.0 enables faster browsing of wire news, streamlining workflows for content creators.
