AI BASED ADAPTIVE LEARNING

AI BASED ADAPTIVE LEARNING

"Education is the passport of the future, because the future belongs to those who prepare for it today." - Malcolm X

When we think of the words ‘class’ and ‘education’ our sensible minds almost automatically think of schools, kindergartens or even universities. But naturally, that's a very limited view of education. Learning is a lifelong process, and there is something to be learned at all stages of life. And with the passing of time, the culture of learning has grown exponentially and has crept into companies. With the advent of Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIEd) programs, learning today is smart, soft, online and global. With little reliance on visual space or reading material (books for example), the modern reader has no knowledge of next-generation technology (including flexible reading).

As learning is redefined in terms of performance and student base let’s take a look at how technologies like AI shape education and how flexible learning and immersion technology set new standards.

What is Adaptive Learning?

Flexible reading or flexible teaching is a way of providing customized educational content for students based on their ability to read. In fact the ability to provide personal AI services in educational settings and companies. Learning forums use computer algorithms, such as Artificial Intelligence and are trained to understand the strengths, weaknesses, learning styles, and skill of the student before providing them with the necessary learning materials and resources. In this case there is also an equally popular concept of e-Learning flexibility that focuses on providing similar information to online readers.

Artificial Intelligence and flexible learning: The future of personal learning

“Everyone is smart. But, if you judge the fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live for the rest of its life believing it to be stupid. ”- Albert Einstein

Personal intelligence, living conditions, environment - these vary from student to student and are important to the student learning cycle. When it comes to education, the common denominator of one class or equality — it all loses its luster accordingly. People are different and there is no single learning style that suits everyone. This is where technology, especially AI can help to provide content that meets the needs of the student, be it in schools or even in business settings. Along with immersion technology and AI, data for each student's learning speed and ability can be integrated efficiently, and shared to make learning fun, enjoyable and attractive.

Take the example of Singapore's Vere360 using Artificial Intelligence and VR to provide quality social media education and skills development. The forum works with a number of knowledgeable partner clients to create educational content that can be accessed by students (schools and crafts) through the Virtual Reality education app.

Another interesting example of Chatbot-based AI in education is that of Botsify, a chatbot that scans students by displaying photos, videos, texts related to a particular topic, and asking questions. Such educational AI tools create a personal, flexible learning environment based on student intelligence. The smartest students in the class may feel challenged, while the less intelligent students will not feel discouraged as their reading styles are perceived and the content is organized based on their strengths and learning styles.

To simplify how AI based Adaptive Learning works

When you talk about flexible learning technology there are some important ideas to keep in mind:

The quality of educational content used

Ability A platform based on AI to identify, evaluate and correct student progress

Tracking progress, measuring performance and scaling based on results

Let’s understand this with an example of how flexible teaching works. Suppose, during the MCQ-based assessment, Grade 1 students should name major cities in all 50 (52) U.S. states. Upon completion, the forum will track the answers (right and wrong), including test scores, time spent and any other pattern shown, for each student. Data will be stored, and shared with students / teachers / parents for performance information.

AI and machine learning algorithms in the game will track and analyze data to interpret the learning style, level of intelligence and other metrics for each learner. Based on that, the forum will refine and improve the level of assessment / learning materials to be provided to the student, and / or provide recommendations. Thus, for the most intelligent students, Test 2 may be based on the state of the regions, whereas visual map-based assessment of the city region may be shared with less intelligent students.

The role of technology-focused teaching, especially in AR / VR-based learning and training environments, makes significant improvements in the ability to customize learning and make it more enjoyable. The idea is to have platforms to measure student skills and provide modified learning methods that will suit them. The role of AI-enabled flexible solutions begins to work here, where the system can learn from experience without manual intervention.
