AEG unveils best-ever Kitchen Range with AI-assisted cooking

Our premium brand AEG unveiled its biggest kitchen launch ever at IFA Berlin 2024, including AI-assisted cooking for the first time, with solutions in every product category including ovens, hobs, hoods, refrigeration and dishwashers.

Designed for consumers who want to take their cooking skills further, the new range is packed with smart technology.

Innovations include AI TasteAssist, a new cutting-edge function that helps consumers make the most of their oven when trying new recipes.

By simply sending the recipe to the oven, the feature analyses it to understand a number of key facets like timing and protein type, then AI TasteAssist automatically selects the optimal cooking settings.

The stunning new range, available in either MattBlack or Glossy Black, features a CookSmart Touch Display - an intuitive interface that guides users through every step of the cooking process.

Sustainability is also at the forefront of the new range, with the carbon footprint reduced by up to 30%* during the use phase, through its highest energy labels and by using energy-saving features.

Striking design with energy-saving product features

Subtle. Striking. Dynamic. The three words that Thomas Gardner, Design Lead Product Line Taste at AEG, uses to describe the new AEG kitchen range.

He said: “We spent a huge amount of time talking to our consumers about what their ideal cooking experience would be like, their idea of a perfect kitchen space and how it reflects on their sense of style and their skills in the kitchen."

Available in MattBlack and Glossy Black, the kitchen is instantly recognisable with signature metal handles, statement trims and a refined graphic identity that fits seamlessly in consumers’ kitchens. It also goes further than any previous range in saving resources without compromising on performance.

Thomas added: “We looked at kitchen trends and at the furniture industry, how technology has become embedded in our lives and the rise of the domestic chef, always looking for the next challenge to level up their cooking. We took everything we learned and turned it into the new AEG Kitchen Range.”

Jardin House / Patio Livity & Electrolux

Located in the centre of Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, the incredible Jardin House is a unique architectural design that intertwines a modern concept with nature.

The work of architects Patio Livity , this visionary project offers split-level living spaces, with a stunning vertical garden that envelops the central area.

Without using large partitions, the entire home feels spacious, open and airy. A large tree is deliberately preserved in the middle to serve as a visual buffer, creating a barrier for private and semi-private spaces.

For the contemporary open kitchen and living area, a number of Electrolux products were also selected.

Vacuum seal food for professionally perfect results

The addition of a vacuum sealer to your next kitchen design can help your client elevate their culinary skills, whilst also helping to reduce food waste.

The Built-in Vacuum Drawer from the new AEG Kitchen Range, recently unveiled at IFA 2024, now includes a responsive touchscreen TFT display that enables intuitive access to its different features.

The guided navigation makes it easier for the cook to experiment with techniques like sous-vide, as well as allowing for the faster marinating of food, tenderising of meat and many other benefits, such as the fast preparation of pickle or a cold brew coffee, all leading to perfect restaurant-quality results at home.

Vacuum-packed food also lasts longer in the fridge and takes up less space in the freezer, while the lack of air also reduces the risk of frostbite, all resulting in less potential for food waste.

This product will launch in the EU in 2025.

When it comes to ambitious renovation projects – where the aim is a balanced mix of modern and classical aesthetics – developers have to trust the appliances they choose for their properties.

Lisbon's Boulevard apartments, the work of architect Luís Francisco from project developer AM48, see a landmark historical building turned into 47 tourist apartments, designed and developed specifically to offer functionality and comfort.

AEG appliances were selected for the kitchens, due to the offer of modern appliances that perform exceptionally, yet feel natural in such a grandiose building.
