Using an AI Assistant Accelerates Learning

• A study conducted by Carnegie Mellon University found that students who used an AI tutor to learn algebra performed better than those who learned from a human tutor?.

I Want to Get Better at Songwriting Faster:?I Could Really Use a Songwriting AI Co-Pilot / Tutor / Co-Writer

An AI Music AI Copilot Could Be Like Having a Co-Writer

• Co-writing has led to some of the greatest songs written (List of songwriter collaborations - Wikipedia).
• In practice, it’s difficult / time-consuming / expensive to co-write with an experienced songwriter. They don’t tend to work with amateurs, and they often require a high percentage of intellectual property ownership.
• Thus, I welcome all AI Co-Writer tools!

Recalling from Part 1:

• Fully AI-generated songs/music is like a self-driving car. I don’t want that. I want to DRIVE the car (creative engagement). But I welcome good assistance (lane-detect, semi-auto-braking, backup cam, etc.)

• Right now, AI music tools are fragmented, require lots of separate interactions, copy/paste, broken flow. What I want is something integrated smoothly into my workflow and main toolset (Logic Pro).

Microsoft’s M365-Integrated Copilot is an excellent design model to follow. I hope Apple, AVID, Ableton, Native Instruments, PreSonus (and others) imitate it and innovate!
