Or I can say,?
“The art of AI and ML invasion… in our world.”?
Let’s dive in…?
These days, It is almost guilty to wake up, and say “Good morning beautiful people” and not say, “Hello AI”, or Hi Avatar”, because they are becoming us and we are sort of obliged to embrace them, in the most evolving way possible.?
Have you ever used a piece of technology and said, “Thank you” after using it? You deemed it fit because it optimised your work and also met you on some human level… very magical right??
It is not news that Artificial intelligence and machine learning et al have penetrated the world systems and will probably dominate every administrative and knowledge sector in almost every human profession you can think of. From the minute excellence of a fine photographer to the delicate focus of a trained doctor, AI and ML have come to stay to either enhance your work with you there or to simply take your titles.?
One of the reasons these innovations have gained the fastest intrusion into our lives is because, these days, human beings want to be there and don’t want to be there. We also want to eat our cake and have it. We want things to happen but don’t want to be a part of the process etc…?
Everyone especially the millennials and frenzy Gen-X, Y, Z are all seeking “freedom”, hybrid”, remote working”… automation” tech assisted living and AI-powered beauty avatars etc but we are not ready or willing to embrace the cons of desiring these things. The way we all embrace it, we give less thought to digital boundaries and we act like we can even command AI to help “make love to our partners” or “hug our children” as they leave for school, if possible.?

On the business and career side, The other day, I saw a post about how AI is also going to take over the creative and film production industry, taking away jobs from backstage crews and supporting casts and crews etc. The powers that be are warming up to using AI to tell our stories and express our Arts and it is already happening, in hybrid motion. With AI-assisted apps, virtual studios and human imitation software… The jobs of creatives such as supporting characters, photographers, writers, voiceover artistes, makeup artists, education providers etc. are being threatened.?
The truth is, the more we desire and tilt towards a fast-paced lifestyle and ease of doing things, the more we have to compromise our essence for a superficial approach to alternative ideas and innovations.?
We often think the world is controlled by the 1% who make decisions in closed doors decision-making meetings, but it is actually the entire world that’s given them the idea to think and make those postulations, predictions and decisions because they observe what we are yearning for through our responses to endless social media utilisation.?
So it is really sad that in the later future, passion” and the love for art or for anything at all, (no matter how you invest in it), will not be dependent on you to form any expertise on, or be a prerequisite for you to practice and excel at, because everything you know how to do talentedly and organically would have been a soulless extension transferred to an AI or some ML programmer to interpret and perform.?
With these cons, What then is the future of work for creatives, for artists, for movie crews and artisans etc. who are reliant on production gigs to feed and stamp their impact works at the end of a creative work or movie credit?
It is a privilege to be able to choose where to work and how we work but let’s also ponder on the future outcome of our lives and how our thoughts, yearnings, and decisions are giving more attention to the demands of endless innovations and technology invasions.?
In a plastic transforming and surreal world, you can choose to remain authentic and organic and present, by choosing the road less traveled and being open to ask questions about difficult conversations no matter how alien it sounds.?
That’s how you challenge the powers that be, that’s how we establish digital boundaries and remind our tech leaders and financial propagators of innovations to respect the sanctity of organic living, social community works, and preserve what it means to be human.?
Thank You for sharing your thoughts in the comments.?
