The question isn’t whether AI will take over – it’s how we’ll evolve with it.

From the rise of PCs in the 80s to the internet’s dominance in the 2000s, each wave brought a new set of leaders.

Today, we’re at the edge of something even bigger - Generative AI. This is the next big leap.This isn’t just about AI creating content or chatbots answering questions. It’s about the long game toward AGI and possibly ASI.

Look at the curve in this chart - it’s clear that AI is the next dominant platform.

I was able to harvest on 2 waves Year 2000 - Desktop Internet and in Year 2010 -CLOUD / SaaS. My career progressed exponentially. Hoping that I can harvest AI wave as well to leap forward. Whats your opinion and your execution plan?

From IBM’s early dominance in Mainframes to Apple’s reign during Mobile Internet, every tech titan has led a platform shift.

Now, names like Nvidia, OpenAI, and Meta are paving the way in the AI era.

If you’re still treating AI as just another trend, you’re missing the point. We’re entering an era where adaptability to AI’s power will define who thrives and who falls behind.

The key now is understanding how you can leverage these shifts. This isn’t about competing with AI but collaborating with it, adapting your skills, and positioning yourself to lead in this new landscape.

The future of work, productivity, and even creativity is being redefined by AI, and those who grasp that will be the new pioneers.

Look at Meta. It’s not just Facebook anymore. With massive investments in AI, open-source models, and the Metaverse, Meta is betting big on the future.

We're talking about innovations in AI research, LLaMA, VR/AR, and even wearables like the new wristband and smart glasses.

Which company will dominate this shift? Time will tell, but it’s clear:

AI is the platform shift you can’t afford to ignore.

The question isn’t whether AI will take over – it’s how we’ll evolve with it.

The AI revolution is often called the next technological wave, and to understand its significance, it’s important to look back at the revolutions that came before it. Each of these revolutions transformed societies, economies, and the way people live and work. Here's a brief look at the major tech revolutions that changed the world:

1. The First Industrial Revolution (1760–1840): The Age of Steam and Mechanization

This revolution began in Britain and spread worldwide, laying the foundation for modern industrial society. Key innovations included:

- Steam engines powered factories, allowing mass production of goods.

- Textile manufacturing became mechanized, drastically increasing production efficiency.

- Iron production improved, leading to stronger infrastructure.

Impact:

- Urbanization grew as people moved to cities to work in factories.

- Labor shifted from manual, agrarian work to industrial jobs.

- Transportation via steam-powered trains and ships expanded global trade.

2. The Second Industrial Revolution (1870–1914): The Age of Electricity and Mass Production

Also known as the Technological Revolution, this period saw the widespread use of electricity and major advances in manufacturing processes. Key developments included:

- Electric power allowed factories to run continuously.

- Assembly lines (pioneered by Henry Ford) revolutionized mass production.

- Steel and chemical industries expanded, creating new materials and products.

Just like previous tech revolutions, AI has the potential to reshape economies and how we interact with machines, but with the added dimension of learning and adapting in ways that are fundamentally different from previous technologies.

Each tech revolution has progressively made the world more interconnected, efficient, and accessible—AI is simply the next step in this ever-evolving journey.
