AI adoption - what's the problem?

My complete, unwavering belief is that #AI is already accelerating and will further accelerate, massive changes to our whole society – business, community, social and personal.
So, companies who are not yet investing in and experimenting with AI technology, simply because they are ‘concerned’ about various aspects, will be left behind. I can’t put it any clearer than that. ??
Having lived through the rapid uptake in internet technology ??in the late 1990’s and throughout 2000’s, and now having been trained over the past 3 months in latest AI technology-based apps, the reality I have come to accept about AI is that this paradigm shift will be even bigger. Why? Precisely because it is not reliant on 'users' possessing technical skills. That’s one of the most significant benefits of AI. ????
As with all technologies, new and existing, my challenge to senior business leaders is always “so what?” What ???????????????? are you striving to attain with these technology implementations?
Because customers don’t buy your technologies! They buy the 'outcomes', or the promise of achieving their desired outcomes.
So organisations that don’t clearly identify the desired business outcomes they are seeking, but simply throw money at buying into technology for the sake of it and implementing it (usually quite poorly), are only likely to see low economic returns. That speaks to me of poor strategy, planning and execution.

?????? ???? ??????????????????. Define your desired business outcomes and design the AI-based solutions accordingly. Then implement with forensic focus on the expected #outcomes - whether saving time, reducing cost, improving quality, mitigating risk, growing revenue, increasing profitability, speeding up innovation, improving customer service, increasing productivity etc.
