?AI (Artificial Intelligence) is here to stay. It will transform our lives in every aspect, including education. The sooner we embrace and integrate AI into the school curriculum and into each classroom, the sooner we will be working to provide our students with the skills they will need in?the not-too-distant future.??The discussion should not center on whether or not AI should be integrated into education, the question is when should it be integrated. My point of view is that it should be integrated immediately.??
???This implies that educators (teachers and facilitators) must be trained as soon as possible to carry this out. It also requires that this training be constantly carried out. Year to year isn't enough. Changes in the field of AI will be coming at a much faster rate than other fields because of the immense interest and the amount of money being invested in this technology. It will also cause a major shift in the job market of the future. That, however, is a topic for another article in the near future.??
???As a life-long educator, I realize that in order for educators to implement AI in their classes, they should be given a clear way to do so. Following are activities that integrate AI (in particular ChatGTP) into the classroom from 1st?grade through 12th?grade. These are just a few ideas integrating ChatGTP with various learning strategies, but they may start the creative juices of other educators flowing.??
