Enterprises are shifting gears from exploration to execution, with AI agents poised to redefine how work gets done. Yet, many companies need to figure out how to capture the value. There is still a big gab between what is possible and what is actually applied in the business context.

2024’s Year-End Milestones

The closing months of 2024 brought game-changing announcements:

• OpenAI’s Transformation: OpenAI’s decision to transition to a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation has sparked widespread debate. While some, including AI pioneer Geoffrey Hinton, question its alignment with safety-focused ideals, others see it as a necessary evolution to sustain innovation.
• Google’s Quantum Leap: Google unveiled its Willow Quantum chip alongside Gemini 2, showcasing advancements that signal the company’s aggressive push into 2025. CEO Sundar Pichai aptly called it a “critical year” for Google’s dominance in AI and quantum computing.

This evolution introduces AI agents capable of:
