AHW Signs LTA with Leading Aerospace Fastener Manufacturer, Arconic Fastening Systems

AHW has announced that they have entered into a Long Term Agreement (LTA) with Arconic Fastening Systems executed this week and to take effect on Dec 1, 2019, and effective until Dec 1, 2022. This agreement covers a wide variety of products that will support AHW’s Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs in the U.S. and Mexico. The scope of products will include hardware from the Recoil, Huck and Arconic Nutplate, and Keensert factories. This agreement continues AHW’s Supply Chain strategy of aggressively locking key manufacturers into LTA’s to secure critical vendor part numbers, under contract pricing, which avoids cost increases and secures delivery schedules. The agreement also supports OEM initiatives to reduce vendor bases to only key suppliers.

Arconic Fastening Systems says that AHW has been a long-standing customer and has proven to be an accomplished global supplier to major OEMs. The partnership between Arconic and AHW has many benefits, one of which is allowing Arconic to proactively forecast and secure favorable delivery times for AHW. Another major benefit is, with a three-year commitment, at global volumes, deeper pricing discounts can be given which can be passed on to AHW customers.
