Ahmed, how do you do this?

"Be human!", is usually the first thing I advise.

Well, most likely you'd think now "That makes sense." or "What weird advice!?". Let me challenge you here - and be honest with yourself:

This morning, on the way to your job or appointment, how many situations did you face where you thought something like "Where did you learn to drive?", "C'mon move! Not everyone has the time to roam around the city.", "Oh my gosh, people are stupid!"

You'll find yourself in similar situations throughout the day. You'll find yourself annoyed by someone or something. You'll find people annoyed by others or even by you.

See, no one is perfect. Neither are you or I. So, let's simply be human, respect each other, help & support each other, learn from each other, and challenge each other (for the better - of course ??).

Coming back to the question I'm leading this article with: "How do you do this?"

To be clear, and anyone I've worked with so far knows this very well: I am not a fan of spoon-feeding. So my answer to this question is a question: "What do you think?"

I've created this newsletter called "Leadership Journey - What it takes to become a great leader" because I started to think about what it took me to get where I am now.

This newsletter is based on my recent post and will cover initially 6 articles:

  • Observing And Understanding Your Team
  • Building Trust
  • Fostering A Positive Environment
  • Growing And Developing Your Team
  • Communicate Well And Effective
  • Lead Your Team By Example

My final, yet very important sentence I'd like to conclude this introduction with

Life is difficult enough. Let's help each other to make it easier to live but challenge each other to become better in what we do and who we are.

Are you interested to follow me on this journey? This is how you can do it:

  1. ?? Subscribe to this newsletter
  2. ? Ask questions, and challenge me in the comments
  3. ? Follow me
  4. ?? Connect with me

I'm very much looking forward to this new challenge and to your contributions!

Best,

Ahmed
