The Ah-ha! moment

The ah-ha moment: a moment of sudden realization, inspiration, insight, recognition, or comprehension. We got to see that today with one of our schools. It's one of the wonderful things about working for Energy Sparks. Members of a school suddenly see their energy consumption over the period of a day, a week, a year and think "hang on, what's going on here?".

Why is our electricity going up at 6am?

What was happening on Sunday night that made our electricity consumption go up?

What a fantastic group of teachers and pupils we had crowding around the screen, all trying to figure out what was happening within their school. They were all so geared up to investigate. Now they are all set up with Energy Sparks and our Get Energised programme. They'll spend some time over the next few weeks getting to know what uses the most electricity in and around their school and working out what they can do about it. We can't wait to see what they do next.
