AGRISPREAD EXPANDS PRESENCE IN NEW ZEALAND

AgriSpread International is a family owned and operated business who manufacture advanced precision spreading equipment for the agricultural and construction sectors exporting to over 10 countries worldwide from its base in County Mayo, Ireland.

With the continued success and growth of their AS2000/ AS1000-2K Series Hydraulic Drive ISOBUS Precision Fertiliser and Lime Spreaders and their Pro and Pro+ Vertical and Horizontal Beater Spreaders, the company is launching in New Zealand with Waringa Distribution.

David Murphy Managing Director of AgriSpread, who is at the helm of the company driving it forward said,

“Manufacturing machinery is in our DNA and our goal is to build the best in the market by investing in the latest engineering technology, with a continuous focus on increasing performance and improving processes”.

“We are no stranger to the southern hemisphere, as along with our appointed distributor Waringa Distribution we began exporting to Australia in 2014 and ten years later it is our largest export and volume market worldwide with over 50 dealers across Australia providing sales, service and support to owners of the AgriSpread product,” he added.

Waringa Distribution and AgriSpread currently have a local presence in New Zealand via the Power Farming branch in Ashburton and now have solid sales and support directly on the ground and are fully committed to support dealers, farmers, and contractors across the country.

Waringa Distribution General Manager Sam Abbott said:

“We have appointed Chris Tricker as Country Manager to lead our New Zealand operations with established freight, assembly, warehousing, and parts distribution locations in both the North and South Island. The next step is to grow our dealer network by appointing new dealers and forge new relationships”.

The quality built, robust, durable AgriSpread spreaders already have a great reputation and are a good fit for the New Zealand market. They incorporate high specification features and advanced precision technologies with functional design to deliver the target rate at the highest level of accuracy to reduce input costs.

Eoin Hughes , Market Advisor, Agribusiness & Waste, Enterprise Ireland Australia & New Zealand who is supporting AgriSpread’s entry into the local market added:

“The similarities of New Zealand and Irish agricultural practices and climates makes Ireland an excellent source of machinery that works perfectly here. Indeed, all around the world farmers are very impressed with the accuracy and versatility of their spreaders and we are delighted to support them in offering this quality of machinery to the New Zealand market”.?
