Agriculture is growing fast in IoT space surprisingly

be it Pest Control Management, Weather Forecast, Crop Monitoring Base, Farmers- Agriculture bodies connectivity, Crop rotation process, Geographical Crop quality monitoring systems, Government Enterprises scalability, Smart Energy systems, Emergency relief monitoring etc ----> glad to be part of this innovation discussions with Enterprises in Israel, France, Poland, India, Australia etc in association with SiliconGigs.com

Anil Chhikara We can monitor the health of our farms by deploying low cost sensors in field and can also suggest precautions for coming diseases in plants. This all can be done by connecting IoT+Agriculture Historical Data+ Time Series+ Neural Cluster. I can't say about meat industry but I am pretty sure that same mechanism can also be applied there too as both work on organic reactions. I will be more than happy to connect to take our discussion further. I love to discuss science & research.

I agree... IoT in agriculture offers tremendous opportunities. One application I have been looking at is weather forecasting based on thousands or millions of low cost sensors installed in the fields transmitting the data to the cloud. Another one is automated realtime livestock health tracking to adhere to the norms that exist in the meat industry esp. in Europe. Would love to connect with people who are working in similar domains.

Two years ago I have worked on time series + neural cluster based crop yield and quality forecasting in an academic research project. In that project we take weather parameters manually and also used some dummy values. There is a problem in taking a note for every environment change- like sudden rise and fall in temp, pressure, moisture. If we can implement some sensor for this purpose that continuously giving reading for every change then by using that methodology we can easily forecast about yield, quality and market value of crop in coming year. After reading your post I am getting fascinated about idea once again.
