AGITO Global has appointed Suren Moodley as its new Group Manufacturing Director

AGITO Global designs, manufactures, integrates and maintains material handling systems for the Food and Beverage; Warehouse and Logistics; E-commerce; and Industrial sectors. The company was founded in 1979, and has more than 100 staff in locations across Australia, UK and Portugal. As part of its global expansion strategy, AGITO announced in 2022 it was entering into a Joint Venture with Hilton Food Group.

As part of AGITO's global growth strategy, the company identified the need to strengthen its global manufacturing expertise. To support this initiative, Suren Moodley has joined AGITO as Group Manufacturing Director, overseeing manufacturing facilities in Portugal and Australia, as well as the supply chain operations.

Suren brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of driving operational excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth coming from Foodmach Australia, where he served as Chief Operations Officer since 2019. Before joining Foodmach, Suren was the Managing Director of an end-of-line packaging machinery in Thailand, a business he started in 2012, which experienced rapid growth. With an early career in client-side roles at Unilever and South African Breweries, Suren has spent the past 20 years providing automation solutions to major international clients, including Nestlé, Mondelez, Mars, Asahi, and Coca-Cola.
