Make up your mind!
Several methods have been developed to run an agile enterprise. But to make self-organization work we need to open up to a new way of thinking, or a new mindset, if you will. And that applies to everyone and each team. We have to be brave enough to forget about the traditional waterfall approach to project management and give ourselves some new rules. The credo is: “We make decisions. We set our own goals. We learn from our success and mistakes.” But that means that we are not supposed to be afraid of mistakes. They happen to all of us and can be a very constructive experience for the future. It is important to discuss this and other issues in well-structured meetings with skilled and empathic moderators. As a self-organizing team you decide how you do your work the best way instead of getting instructions by supervisors outside the team. This way you can really grow together with your teammates.
Many chances come with this new way of thinking. We have quicker response rates and we can minimize the risk of missing a change of customer requirements within the process. The consistent collaboration with each other and the customers make us more efficient and accurate in meeting all requirements. Plus, every team member has a chance to evolve in a process of constant review and learning. So go ahead and be part of the dynamic future! It’s already here.

5 年Agile promotes self-organizing team which practices openness and collaboration to give highest priority to customer satisfaction. This require change in mindset and acceptance of feedback culture. It is good that Daimler leadership is encouraging this culture which is an opportunity for its employees to learn and grow with the organization. We are lucky to be part of it.?
