Agility & Analysis Is About Mindset

Much of bringing agility to our analysis practices is about mindset! You can use the same tools and techniques, but with the right mindset and approach, these same tools and techniques become magical in helping create fast work that flexes to the team's needs and enables quality products that resonate with users!

Our mindset drives how we respond to others, how we interpret what others need from us, and how we facilitate interactions with others. Our mindset drives our behaviors which can dramatically change how others engage and interact with us, and in turn, dramatically change the speed and quality of what we build as a team!

Many analysis professionals I talk to want to change their mindset in the following ways:

• FROM being the domain expert TO facilitating innovation in problem-solving.
• FROM having all the answers TO facilitating collaborative conversations to find better answers than one person might have.
• FROM being a documenter (or seen as one), TO being seen as a leader of change and driver of innovation.
• FROM sporadic learning TO continuous learning and growth
