Day 2: Agile Manifesto & Principles
The Agile Manifesto values Individuals and Interactions, Working Software, Customer Collaboration, and Responding to Change.
It is supported by 12 principles that emphasize continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and adaptability.
.??Customer satisfaction through early and continuous delivery – The highest priority is to satisfy the customer through early and continuous delivery of valuable software.
.? Welcome changing requirements – Agile processes embrace change, even late in development, to provide the customer with a competitive advantage.
.? Frequent delivery of working software – Deliver working software frequently, from a few weeks to a few months, with a preference for the shorter timescale.
.? Collaboration between business and developers – Business people and developers must work together daily throughout the project.
.? Support and trust motivated individuals – Build projects around motivated individuals. Give them the environment and support they need, and trust them to get the job done.
.??Face-to-face conversation – The most efficient and effective method of conveying information to and within a development team is face-to-face conversation.
.??Working software is the primary measure of progress – The primary measure of success is working software, rather than documentation or processes.

.? Sustainable development – Agile processes promote sustainable development. The team should be able to maintain a constant pace indefinitely.
.?? Continuous attention to technical excellence and good design – Continuous improvement of technical skills and design enhances agility.
.? Simplicity – The art of maximizing the amount of work not done is essential. Keep things simple and avoid unnecessary complexity.
.? Self-organizing teams – The best architectures, requirements, and designs emerge from self-organizing teams.
.? Regular reflection and adaptation – At regular intervals, the team reflects on how to become more effective, then tunes and adjusts its behaviour accordingly.
