One of the most frequent issues ARTs face is being blocked by dependencies on external resources. While SAFe recommends cross-functional teams, many organizations still have specialized skills siloed in different departments.
??How to avoid: Ensure shared services specialists are truly part of the ART, participating in planning, execution, and feedback loops. Consider embedding key specialists directly in the ART teams when possible.
??Confusing Development Cadence with Release Schedule

Use the Theory of Constraints approach: identify the most impactful constraint, exploit quick improvements, subordinate other processes to support the constraint, elevate the constraint through more substantial changes, and then move on to the next constraint.
