Agile Monikers

Today lets co-share about the Agile and its many names and examples. #Agile, #Scrum, #AgileScrum, #Kanban, #ScrumBan. These are all methods and frameworks which are used within software development and other products and service development and delivery domain. Agile is the Parent, Scrum, AgileScrum, KanBan, ScrumBan are all children or examples within the Agile space or the hierarchy if you will. Unlike the Traditional Project Management method or a waterfall method that provides a sequential, step by step, forward ever orientation to the development and delivery lifecycle, the Agile development and delivery or Agile, is the principle and practices, the philosophy of enabling change within an organization through flexibility, through collaboration, through communication, through commitment, through completion, through inspection, through adaptation, across and amongst cross functional stakeholder groups. Agile seeks to break down complexity of software solution development and delivery into small manageable parts which all like building blocks sum into the whole product when each part is complete. These are the iterations or cycles of development or build if you will. The whole understanding is the customer is the focus and their ever-changing needs and requirement make up the uncertainties that exist, all of which are factored in or put into consideration if you will during adaptive planning. Experimentation improves our experience as we evolve in the incremental cycles till each product or project is developed and delivered to meet the shared and common understanding of all stakeholders involved. That is Agile espoused.
