Agile Methodologies

The four methodologies important from a PMI-ACP perspective are:

1. Scrum,
2. Extreme Programming (XP),
3. Lean,
4. Kanban.

There are other methodologies that represent unique Agile practices and are commonly used, which practitioners of ACP should be aware of:

1. Feature-Driven Development (FDD),
2. Dynamic System Development Method (DSDM), and
3. Crystal Family.

While these methodologies follow the Agile Manifesto's guiding principles, they have specific characteristics that make them unique. It's up to the organization and team to choose the best fit because always success of a methodology in a project depends on factors like:

• Project's nature,
• Organizational Culture, and
• People Involved.
