The Agile Entrepreneur Podcast

The Agile Entrepreneur Podcast

I am very excited, sorry, let me start again. I am SUPER excited to announce the launch of The Agile Entrepreneur’ podcast series where I’ll feature one entrepreneur who has gone through the trials and tribulations of starting his/her own business and willing to share their entrepreneurial journey with the listeners in each episode. If you are not into listening but more into reading, no worries. We have complete transcripts and show notes with key points so you can spend as little time or as much time as you can accommodate in your schedule.

Who Are These Podcasts For?

This podcast series is for anyone who ever dreamed about starting his/her own business and anyone who wants to learn from these other successful entrepreneurs on how to grow their businesses faster.

According to a study on Vistaprint.Com, 62% of US adults dream about starting their own businesses. That is 6 out of 10 of you (if you are from the US) who fall in that category. Depending on your age (77% of adults between 25-34 years), this could be as high as 8 out of 10. So this podcast is for you.

Why Should You Listen To These Podcasts?

Because of the stories of the people who are featured in these three podcast episodes in this launch. Read on.

Paige Arnof-Fenn, ‘the accidental entrepreneur’, is the founder and CEO of the global marketing and branding company, Mavens & Moguls. She graduated from Stanford University and Harvard Business School. She had some exciting stints as VP of marketing at ZIp car and inc.com to name a few. With a profile like that, you’d expect smooth sailing. But the economic downturn associated with 9/11 changed that and she decided to chart her own path and started Mavens & Moguls. In this episode, she’ll talk about her journey of the past 18 years of building her company.

Joshua Lisec is the owner of a Ghostwriting business, Entrepreneur’s Wordsmith LLC. Did you ask ‘What is Ghostwriting?’ Well, that was my first question as well. His fascinating story talks about his journey of writing multiple books for himself and others, becoming the first certified ghostwriter in Ohio, a TEDx speaker, and #1 international bestselling ghostwriter. He also talks about how parenthood influenced his and his wife Judy Shaw’s career choices and how they have been building their business one book at a time.

Last but not least is Dr. Gayle Carson in the 3rd episode. Gayle is 81 years old, a cancer survivor, and probably the only woman in the world who has a Doctorate, a CSP (Certified Speaking Professional), CMC (Certified Management Consultant) and a FIMC (Fellow to the Institute of Management Consultants). She calls herself “Spunky Old Broad” (SpunkyOldBroad.Com) and is the best selling author, popular speaker, and runs SOB Radio Network. What else do you need to know before you decide to listen to her entrepreneurial journey? Extremely inspiring and motivating story.

My belief is that you will become an agile entrepreneur by learning from other people's successes and failures. You can fast track your own path by modeling the strategies that helped them and avoiding the mistakes they talk about.

Here is a request and a challenge for you. My request is for you to listen to or read the transcript (if you are not into listening) of at least one guest. And my challenge is that I guarantee you’ll walk away motivated/inspired or learn at least one new thing. If not, I have done a terrible job. These guests and their stories deserve to be heard or read.

Join me on this joyous journey.

I plan to publish at least one episode every week if not more. Share with your friends and family. And please provide your reviews and feedback as they are extremely important to me. I want to get better. I want to learn from your critique. And also let me know if I am doing Ok with these podcasts. After all, we all need a pat on the back now and then.

My connections on LinkedIn have been outstanding in their support of my writing. I hope to continue to get your support for The Agile Entrepreneur podcast series as well. Thank you in advance.
