 Agile is becoming a norm for many enterprises and a number roles are going to get impacted big time. Engineering Talent is getting its recognition and fight for talent is going to get bitter both within and across enterprises.

This important shift has been  happening for quite some time and it will have a huge impact in IT Services space. Enterprises are all moving to Agile and you will have new Business roles created like Product Owners, Business Analysts, Process Consultants from Business.

How ever IT will have a huge set of delivery roles that will get impacted and a huge transformation is for IT folks to stay relevant. 

I am not a fortune teller not saying this is going to be true, but capturing my thoughts on some of the roles and the impact it may have. I have only taken key roles

Lets Look at key IT technical roles first,


Now lets look at key IT Delivery Roles I have just bucketed into 2 for simplicity:

Considering that ways things stand Digital Projects requires a open mindset to learn and be on the toes to be relevant. I just feel at least in India IT there is a Tsunami waiting to happen.
