Will AGI replace traditional health care?

Helping insurers make accurate and efficient decisions
Have you ever considered how future generations will look back on today’s healthcare system??
In this interesting TED talk, Open AI's co-founder and chief scientist, Ilya Sutskever, delves into the transformative potential of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). He highlights how this could surpass human intelligence, revolutionizing every aspect of our lives, including healthcare and insurance.
Around the 6-minute mark, Sutskever presents an example concerning healthcare. He paints a picture of today's healthcare challenges: accessibility to doctors is often limited, a doctor's knowledge, while deep, is not all-encompassing, and the costs associated with human medical professionals are significant.?
Imagine an AGI trained to be a doctor: accessible around the clock, equipped with exhaustive knowledge of all medical literature, and billions of hours of clinical experience. Sutskever suggests that such advancement in healthcare could be as significant as the leap from 16th-century dentistry to modern practices.?
Even if such technology were available today, I would be a bit skeptical about letting it?suggest complex surgery (however, it's probably just a matter of time and societal acceptance).
A less life-threatening use case of an AGI doctor would, of course, also be as a medical advisor for personal injury claims. Helping the claims handlers make accurate and efficient decisions.?
Hmm... Typically, a desktop assessment refers to a claim being settled without the direct assessment of a medical advisor. In this case, would a claim assessed by an AGI doctor qualify as such?
