Aggressive Isn’t A Bad Word
If you want to be successful in sales you must be aggressive. Aggressive isn’t a bad word, it’s a prerequisite for salesmanship. Being aggressive simply means you don’t give up, you find a way around your client’s “I’m not interested.”
If you need inspiration to become an aggressive salesperson think back to 1990 when Ryan White died at the age of 18. Ryan had severe hemophilia and became infected with HIV from a contaminated blood treatment. We didn’t understand HIV back then and Ryan was shunned because of his misunderstood disease. The following quote from Ryan indicates just what an aggressive individual this admirable young man was; “AIDS can destroy a family if you let it, but luckily for my sister and me, Mom taught us to keep going. Don't give up, be proud of who you are, and never feel sorry for yourself.”
