NO AGENT NEEDS A SECOND SKYDIVING BOOTCAMP!

Cork, Ireland. In a local contact center, it has come to light that one customer service agent has been unable to hide his complete lack of interest in helping customers.

Colleagues have noted that there were telltale signs for a while. His team supervisor said:

"In one-on-one coaching sessions when we played back his incredibly monotone delivery to him, he just didn't get it. He actually told me that he'd need a damn good reason to speak with more enthusiasm."

Another colleague added, "He never takes part in the customer empathy training that everyone is encouraged to attend. It involves watching tear-jerking films and hugging it out with co-workers."

Even a fully paid off-site coaching program, where he did live calls while skydiving, failed to improve his attitude towards customers.

"It's proven very successful with others," said his supervisor. "Most agents show more enthusiasm when they get back. We see very few whose performance stays low enough to have to take a skydiving refresher."

Joe Franks from Attitude X Altitude, the company providing the skydiving personal development training, noted that he never had a person so incapable of caring.

“The high altitude dive batters the complacency out of almost everyone, but not this guy.”?

Despite these efforts, the agent has not been able to hide his complete indifference towards customers. His manager has reportedly been struggling with how to handle the situation, as firing him would mean having to actually start looking for a replacement.
