Agency resolutions ?? Resident expectations

Agency resolutions ?? Resident expectations

Welcome to 2025! A quick refresher now that you've (hopefully) gotten your email inbox back down to single digits:

  • AI is still the talk of the town. Most government agencies have (or are working on) official policies regarding AI, and some are already using AI, whether that’s for transcription, document review, or chatbots.
  • Efficiency and cost management are on everyone’s minds. Modernization projects are expected to keep humming along, but many agencies are dealing with a stagnant or limited budget. Leadership will be expected to do more with less — and that will likely require internal process changes, more automation, thoughtful tech investments, and upskilling staff.
  • Data security remains a challenge. Cybersecurity threats are becoming more sophisticated and prevalent. Consumers are also worried about data breaches, so if agencies aren’t on top of cybersecurity, they risk losing residents’ trust permanently.

As resident expectations continue to rise?— and agencies need to do more with less — how can public sector leaders achieve a great customer experience with a limited set of resources?

A practical approach to artificial intelligence

AI has the ability to act as a force multiplier for government agencies of all sizes. The challenge? Striking the right balance between innovation, public trust, and delivering tangible benefits to residents.

Join Mike Guiterrez and Adam Christensen from the PayIt team as they discuss the most impactful insights from thought leaders like Amelia Powers Gardner (Utah County, UT) and Jonathan Feldman (Wake County, NC).

  • How can governments leverage AI to streamline operations and elevate resident services
  • What are the most significant hurdles to AI adoption, and how can we overcome them?

Adapt and modernize with API integrations

API integrations enable you to quickly adapt to changing market expectations, connect to the latest applications, and easily share information with other agencies or departments while also simplifying maintenance without upending older backend systems.

In our newest white paper, we explore how APIs play a role in:

  • Integration flexibility: APIs support flexible integration strategies, making it possible to adapt and connect disparate systems effectively, plus the ability to scale digital services in response to resident needs
  • Security and compliance: Incorporate advanced security features, safeguarding sensitive information, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • REST and SOAP: APIs come in two primary architectures: REST and SOAP, and each can be used to address diverse government use cases
  • Middleware solutions: Ensure APIs integrate seamlessly, even with older systems, avoiding costly overhauls

Advanced API Integrations: Bridge the gap between legacy back-end systems and modern front-end experiences
