Agency attends Parliamentary event organised by UK Friends of Ukraine to support war effort
At an event held at the House of Commons this week, supporters of the Ukraine war effort heard Major General Sergil Konokhov’s first hand account of his country’s fight against Russian aggressors.?
Organised by the UK Friends of Ukraine, which was founded on the first anniversary of Vladimir Putin’s invasion, its aim is to keep focus on helping Ukrainians during both the war itself and crucially on the inevitable programme of reconstruction afterwards.?
On the invitation of MP Ian Paisley, Frankie and Lee Peck, from leading Southampton PR agency Lee Peck Media attended the event. Frankie said: “Hearing the General speak brought home the atrocities of the war. ?His highly personal insight highlights the importance of the work of UK Friends of Ukraine and we fully support them.”
Imogen Payter, a director of this not-for-profit organisation, has been to Ukraine on several convoys delivering aid. She said: “We want to continually improve Anglo-Ukrainian relations for businesses, stakeholders, and politicians and?encourage anyone who wants to help Ukraine to get in touch. We can never have too much support.”?
“Our main focus is working with charities and community groups to deliver aid to Ukraine as well as support educational projects across the two countries.”?
