Ageless Lifestyle Tips 286 for Busy Women. Vibrant Health. Peak Performance. Age Reversal & Longevity

Hi there, hello from France again … Our oldest daughter and our granddaughters have arrived yesterday, so the next two weeks are likely to be mayhem.

Nevertheless, here are your weekly lifestyle tips & ideas on how you can enjoy your life (more) … every single day.

Btw, the final results for short tips versus long tips in this newsletter are in. 44% of all of you who had voted prefer short tips and 56% longer tips. I guess I’ll try to mix them up, so you get both ??

Might Greenspaces Including Gardens & Parks Increase Your Thinking Speed & Attention? …

… Maybe.

Women who had more greenspaces around their living areas had better cognitive function than women who didn’t … similar to that of women 1.2 years younger (study).

Having those greenspaces seems to help especially women to recover better from psychological stress and suffer less often from depression (and linked to that cognitive decline). Not suffering from depression in turn tends to relate to less of a risk of getting Alzheimer’s and dementia in later life.

So, surround yourself as much as possible with green … if you can’t have it around where you live, maybe having plenty of plants, little vertical gardens, … inside your home and office might make a difference.

Broaden Your Horizon & See the World with Different Eyes …

… by speaking with a child and/or with somebody who is not in your field at all.

Our granddaughters are with us since yesterday and talking with, e.g., 4-year young Alma, it was fascinating to explore how she sees the world.

We are often stuck in our own ways of thinking … and often enough surround us with people who think the same way … but what if you try to see the world with their eyes?

What can you discover? What is new? What is different? … And how can this help you improve your products & services, your business, and your personal life?

What If Your Anxiety Is a Benefit? …

… So far, we’ve seen anxiety as something bad, debilitating … and often the fear of anxiety leads people to being even more anxious.

So, the solution was trying to avoid anxiety at all cost.

But what if anxiety is actually your path to creativity and finding solutions?

If you’re thinking about anxiety (and I’m not talking about a fully blown anxiety disorder), what do you feel??Probably butterflies in your stomach. Your heart is pounding. You breathe quicker. You’re on high alert. You’re restless.

When else do you feel like this?

… When you’re totally excited!

And it’s that excitement that helps you to be your very best.

So, what if you reframe this negative attitude to anxiety with a positive appreciation of the actual feeling?

Just this on its own will change how you perceive the thing you were so anxious about (study). It will help you to focus on getting through the situation, finding solutions, being creative, and connecting with people around you (study).

So, whenever you feel somewhat anxious, be curious about this feeling. Find out where it comes from and what you might be able to do about it.

If you want to know more, read the book ‘Future Tense: Why Anxiety Is Good for You (Even Though It Feels Bad)’ that came out in May, written by Tracy Dennis-Tiwary is a professor of Psychology and Neuroscience.

Imagine a World Where You Just Keep On Living …

… a future without aging, a future where you can do whatever you want because you’re super healthy … even at the age of 110 and beyond.

Naveen Jain, entrepreneur & CEO of Viome, is a visionary who not only wants to make illness but also death optional.

Enjoy the short abstract of

Imagine a World Where You Just Keep On Living. An Interview with Entrepreneur & CEO Naveen Jain

from our ‘Future of Aging’ interview series with leading researchers, visionaries, and entrepreneurs.

Naveen shares how you could live forever, what curiosity has to do with it and what he suggests, so you can live healthy and happy as long as you want.

Naveen Jain is an entrepreneur driven to solve the big problems facing today's world. He has created several companies, including Moon Express to mine the moon for resources and Viome to make illness optional by focusing on the microbiome.

Having focused on what Naveen calls the most beautiful word in the English language, ‘Imagine,’ all his life, it is not surprising that he takes quite a different and outside-the-box approach when looking at the future of aging.

Be surprised … and inspired!

?What Does It Mean To ‘Live Forever’?

Naveen says that the meaning of living forever really depends on your perspective on what living means, what defines WHO you are.

Are you talking about living in your own biological body? And if so, at what stage does your physical body stop being ‘you’?

Even today, we can replace so many parts of our bodies, teeth, joints, kidneys, liver, and other organs. Add on aesthetic surgeries where not even your neighbors might recognize you anymore. Is that still your biological body?

Or maybe you are talking about your DNA. In this case, you will keep living on as long as you have children, they have children, and so on.

If you believe that you are your mindset, your memories, and experiences, you can expect that within the next 20 years, …

Cool Product Corner. Create Your Own Gardyn

… As green spaces are very healthy for you … and growing your own fruits and vegetables is far more nutritious than what you buy in a shop, a great way I had written about in Jeunessima Jeunessima Magazine 24. On your iPad. On your desktop last year was Gardyn.

It’s a vertical garden that looks truly stunning: a nutritious, green jewel in your own home.

Gardyn can grow an abundance of fresh lettuce, herbs, fruits, and flowers, up to 30 plants at a time on just 2 square feet (0.19 square meters).

“It's very compact. You can grow a lot of food. And when you taste it, I can tell you that we know where you're going,” to get your food in the future, says CEO FX.

Even better, Gardyn uses hydroponic technology that needs no soil.

The best of Gardyn, though, is 'Kelby,' your new green thumb.

Kelby is an app on your phone that regulates a timed water system that feeds your plants all the nutrients they need.

But it is so much more. It also regulates the light and tells you when it is time to prune and harvest. And it also gives you plenty of other tips.

The only disadvantage?

It is only available in the US.
