Aged Care Update

Care minutes

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) has issued a statement listing 27 reisdential aged care homes and 11 providers who have failed to meet the care minute targets.

These providers have been issued 'enforceable undertakings'. An enforceable undertaking is legally binding and outlines a plan to return to compliance.

New Minister

The Hon Amanda Rishworth MP has been announced as the new Minister for the National Disability Insurance scheme taking over from the Hon Bill Shorten MP.
