AGE IS NOTHING BUT A NUMBER

The passage, ‘You will come to the grave in full vigour’ (Job 5:26), reminds those who, when they reach the mandatory retirement age, tend to think they should just sit back, enjoy the fruits of their labour and do little or nothing else that, people like Caleb, the eighty-five year old who attacked the giants, drove them out of the hill country and became a land developer, while Noah, who began building the ark when he was five hundred years old and a hundred years later, helped to start the world all over again, lived long because they had something to live for. So let the knowledge that: 1) Age is nothing but a number; 2) No disease is more lethal than the boredom that follows retirement; and 3) For as long as God chooses to leave us on this earth, we should live our lives to the fullest; teach you to keep on walking, dreaming and accepting new challenges!FG. www.fgtalks.com
