" AGE IS JUST A NUMBER"

"Bit confused about the statement made by a lot of motivational speakers,coachs nowadays when an elderly person is battling to cope up with the new generations, thinking or the way they deal with the situations. I even saw videos of the 80-year-old woman playing basketball in America and 104-year-old woman running with her 65-year-old son on a racing track in Punjab, at that point of time it made me believe whatever said by the motivational leaders is correct,however this phrase doesn't fit everywhere nowadays especially if a person is willing to do a job in a reputed firm. Recently I came across a 44year old guy with a sound experience of 14 years practical knowledge in marketing and sales. Till now he was doing great when all of a sudden the company he was working for decided to wind up looking at the economy is gone down, he was left with job and as usual he started looking for job in the field which he is familiar with but unfortunately he had faced rejections everywhere with a statement that our company has an age criteria . I was shocked to see that such a knowledgeable person is sitting idle at home surfing internet and looking for companies who don't believe in age criteria, but till now he has not succeeded yet. Then what is our Dear Prime Minister is doing in his office according to today's scenario he should be sitting at home and reading books or watching the news, however, he is very much successfully running this country towards progress getting new opportunities for his countrymen and making his countrymen proud around the globe. At least he has proved it that "AGE IS JUST AN NUMBER" Ther should be a determination to do something if you have that nothing can stop you. Then why this guy is being rejected by the top brand companies saying that he is above the age criteria, what I think his experience will or can be fruitful for a company who hires him as per his practical knowledge definitely will get the company good business and a good name in the market. I am not trying to judge any individual or anyone, in particular, this is just my opinion which I thought I should share with my friends, I wish I had a big company I definitely would hire him for his par excellent knowledge and skills. However, I am trying my level best to get him a job in a particular field he is looking for cause I feel a person who has good knowledge sit idle and waste his talent after all he has a family to look after.
