Age Gracefully….AVOID LINES & WRINKLES

Wrinkles something we all have to face as we are growing older. They are the result of decreasing collagen levels, which causes your skin to lose elasticity. Luckily, there are some ways to slow down the aging process and grow old in style.

The simple aging process is one of the main and unavoidable causes of wrinkles around the mouth. As you age, you’ll notice more fine lines and wrinkles appear on your forehead, below the eyes, between the eyebrows and around your mouth. Due to the skin structure around their mouths, women are more prone to developing wrinkles in this area.

Premature aging of the skin and wrinkles are often a result of poor nutrition, stress, sudden loss of weight, and a lack of exercise. There are thousands of expensive anti-aging and anti-wrinkle serums and lotions on the market. But those can do more harm than good, as they contain a lot of skin-damaging chemicals, and often don’t give you the promised result.

If you really want beautiful skin, do the same things you would do to strengthen your heart, control your weight, lift your mood and live longer and better: Get regular exercise, sleep enough and eat well.

There is much more to healthy skin, aging and longevity than just achieving some specific formula of eating a precise ratio of foods, drinking a precise amount of juice or keeping certain levels of nutrients at a particular level. That's because all chemical processes in the body or otherwise require electricity, bio-energy or chi in order to do their job. You can have ALL the nutrients you want but if the EM field in each cell is weak, it's no going to matter one bit!

The Different Kinds Of Mouth Wrinkles

There are three different kinds of lines around the mouth, Smile Lines, Marionette Lines and Vertical Lip Lines.

Smile Lines run from the bottom corners of the nose to each corner of your mouth. They are caused by the loosening of ligaments around the mouth, causing the skin to sag slightly.

Marionette Lines are wrinkles which appear in the corners of the mouth and can make you look a little unhappy, as they cause the corners of your mouth to turn down. Marionette Lines often appear due to the breakdown of collagen in the skin, causing it to sag and fold around the mouth.

Vertical Lip Lines are also known as ‘smoker’s lines’. These kinds of lines are the most common wrinkles around the mouth and are mostly caused by regular lip movements, however, they can be exacerbated by smoking, hence the nickname ‘smoker’s lines’

The benefits of nuts -- especially almonds -- have to do with antioxidant activity. Vitamin E fights skin-aging free radicals, and also helps your skin hold in moisture.

Red and Green Vegetables

Orange-red vegetables are full of beta-carotene. Your body converts beta-carotene into vitamin A, which prevents cell damage and premature aging. Spinach and other green, leafy foods provide lots of vitamin A, too.

Citrus Fruits

Vitamin C aids in your body's production of collagen, which is the protein that forms the basic structure of your skin. Collagen breakdown can leave your skin saggy, and vitamin C will help tighten it back up.

“You are what you eat”

Through the food we eat, our body gets the essential nutrients to build new cells and maintain vital processes. So the foods you put in your mouth are actually the building blocks of your entire body. Through a healthy diet you are giving your body the best building blocks there are to maintain your skin’s elasticity and slow down the aging process and the formation of wrinkles.

When it comes to proper nutrition for a healthy, youthful complexion, you need to know both what to eat and what to avoid. Loading up on certain skin-clearing foods while still eating some of the most damaging will likely not make a significant impact.

For example, insulin and leptin resistance are major accelerants of the aging processes, which affect both your inside and outside, so it's important to keep your insulin and leptin levels low if you want to maintain a youthful look—not to mention optimal health.

Now, while oranges, buckwheat, oysters, spinach and almonds are great foods for your skin, achieving great-looking skin through dietary changes doesn't have to be so specific. A healthy body means healthy skin. Just feed your body good, healthy foods, get some exercise and keep your stress low, and your skin will reap the benefits.

Drugs and alcohol are clearly enemies of a glowing complexion, but processed foods, trans fats, processed table salt, and pasteurized dairy products are also common culprits.

In a nutshell, in order to have clear, healthy skin, you need to make sure your body is relatively free of toxins, so cleansing your body of dangerous substances while putting in the finest nutrients is essential.

The organs responsible for providing you with beautiful skin include your liver, kidneys, adrenals, thyroid, and your large and small intestines.

·       Your liver and kidneys are the two organs that filter out impurities on an ongoing basis. If your diet is less than ideal, these two organs can easily become overtaxed, which can lead to breakouts and other skin problems.

·       Your adrenals make many essential hormones, such as pregnenolone, DHEA, estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. Hormonal imbalances can also result in problematic skin conditions, so adrenal function is important as well.

·       A well-nourished, energetic thyroid also provides hormones and works closely with your adrenals to create energy. Dry, flakey, sluggish skin can be evidence of a weak thyroid.

·       Your small- and large intestines provide nutrients to all your organs and remove waste products from your body. When waste meant for elimination remains in your intestines your skin becomes thick, oily and blemished. Pure, flawless skin is typically a reflection of clean intestines.


We are a gluten-based society, with wheat as a staple. When people get a Candida overgrowth, and it goes into the fungal stage, going through the intestinal wall, allowing bits of our diet...to enter the body and be treated like an allergen, we have problems.

I am suspecting that if the Candida problem is not addressed, the new seeds and grains we use will end up in the same way, as allergens.

Aluminum poisoning through vaccines and deodorants (breast cancer had a high incidence of the upper, outer margin near underarms) causes Candida to flourish. Heavy metals shelter Candida and make it harder to get rid of. Cilantro used with Chlorella to eliminate heavy metals may be helpful to detox.
