Again an amazing experience!!!

As a member of WIN (Women at Intel Network) in France, I was invited by a colleague  to participate to the National Day for Young students.

I obviously accepted.

The goal was to open the doors of our company (Intel), to explain our job to about 60 students.

We were 5 women to accept this invitation and various demos on RealSense, WiDi, audio improvement and test on boards.

I accepted to be  a co-speaker to describe “the Chip making from A to Z” .

I was  also asked me to manage the WIDI (Wireless Display) demo.

Although I had no knowledge about this technology developed by Intel, I thought  it would be a good opportunity to learn more about it.

So just before the D day,  a WiDi expert trained me on this demo and gave me a lot of information about this technology.

By the end of the National Day for young students I was tired but really happy: it was a real pleasure to present this demo to the students and to see their amazement when they played with a tablet connected to a TV by WiDi technology.

Whenever I get the opportunity to work with children, I hope to modify their mindset, their biases.

Each time a woman shows technological demos, boys can understand the technology is not only their domain and girls can realize they can embrace STEM studies and really like it.

Had I refused this invitation, I would have never had this opportunity.

By getting out of my comfort zone, I once again had an amazing experience!!
