From Joining the AGA, Attending the Glamping Show, to Creating a Coastal Glamping Retreat

Two Capes Lookout & FDomes & ??D House

For Anna & Kevin Gindlesperger, founders of Two Capes Lookout on the rugged Oregon coast, the journey into glamping started years ago when Kevin joined AGA for more information about the industry. At the 2022 Glamping Show Americas their vision took a major step forward.

Anna, originally from Poland, was thrilled to spot the FDomes (AGA member and Winner of the AGA Glamping Award Manufacturer of the Year 2024!) booth at the show, complete with a “Polska” sign. The couple had already been following FDomes for some time and were impressed by their quality and innovation. Their connection with Damian Gan, Sales Representative for FDomes and Glamping Expert, led to an opportunity to visit two fully operational glamping resorts in Poland the following summer—Mountain Glamp and Peak Glamp—giving them invaluable firsthand experience with the structures they were considering.

Damian states “it was fascinating to see how small the world can be—Anna’s connection to Poland made our collaboration feel even more personal. During the visit to the Tatra Mountains, our client (owner of Mountain Glamp and Peak Glamp) enthusiastically shared his experiences with Anna and Kevin, even joking about the unexpected challenges of running a glamping site, like dealing with curious wildlife and overly adventurous guests. Anna and Kevin left inspired and laughing, with a clearer picture of what to expect on their own journey.”

The in-person experience solidified their decision. After reconnecting with the FDomes team at the 2023 AGA Glamping Show, Anna and Kevin finalized their purchase of 16 geodesic domes for Two Capes Lookout. Throughout the process, Damian provided invaluable advice on everything from dome color to insulation and all the details in between. FDomes even sent a crew from Poland to assist with on-site assembly to assist in bringing the project to life.

“We’re incredibly grateful for FDome's support from the beginning stages through to the on-site setup. Their commitment has been essential to making our vision a reality.”

Anna and Kevin also met AGA member Kaida Aaviste from ??D House, and ultimately decided to add four stunning mirror cabins to their retreat.

Their journey proves that the right industry connections can provide more than just products—they offer expertise, hands-on support, and a network of professionals who genuinely care about a project’s success.

Helping a Glamping Business Take Shape

Q Hospitality Management & Two Capes Lookout

As Two Capes Lookout took shape, Anna and Kevin recognized the importance of strong operational management. That’s when they teamed up with AGA Member Quentin Incao of Q Hospitality Management, a pre-opening consultant and third-party management company specializing in glamping operations.

Quentin and his team worked closely with Two Capes Lookout through the development phase, ensuring a smooth process from concept to launch. Now, with their official opening set for February, Q Hospitality Management is set to oversee the retreat’s day-to-day operations, providing seamless guest experiences, operational expertise, and long-term success strategies.

This partnership exemplifies how the AGA connections members make don’t just help businesses start—they help them succeed for the long run.
