AFTER A TURBULENT YEAR THERE ARE OPPORTUNITIES FOR LONG TERM THINKING

As the year draws to a close, we reflect on what has been a challenging and turbulent year across the world that has once again affected our education system

However, the year has also been marked by opportunity, and we are encouraged by the increased focus and discussion on the need for long term planning within education.?

At the FED we pride ourselves in our neutral and independent approach, facilitating and enabling conversations that our education system needs to find effective solutions to long term issues through a strategic approach.?

We were delighted this year to launch our second?FED National Education Consultation Report 2022?and?FED National Education Consultation Report Technical Annex 2022?at the House of Lords.

We want to take this opportunity to thank those who have helped shape both of these reports. You can read?workstream member reflections?and?stakeholder council members reflections?as to why they volunteered, what they have learnt?and?what their hopes and aspirations are.

We are also forever grateful to our?FED National Ambassadors?and?FED Advisory Council?whose support and work behind the scenes is vital in helping to secure a long term vision and framework for education.?

Over the coming year we are refining and testing the national education planning blueprint for long term success which we published last year, and we will update you in the new year about our progress.
