After the pandemic what kind of person will you be?

Once this pandemic will be over there will be an initial peak of enthusiastic growth! This is what I hear people saying and I tend to agree with that.
It is not a matter of IF the pandemic will end but WHEN and WHAT it will be left after such a collapse of the economy, AND most importantly, what kind of growth that will be.
Hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of SMEs will not make it through.
More tragically, the same happened and it is still happening with people. We lost and are still losing our dear ones.
For many people, without the possibility to say goodby for the last time. Without a last hug.
Our inability to protect the most fragile members of our society (both people and businesses) have caused the collapse of the global economy and for individuals to go back in their home-caves.
Hiding and isolating is a primitive and yet still very effective way to protect ourselves against an immediate danger.
Social distancing was the same "technique" used during the pandemics in the Middle Ages.
Until the vaccine will be rolled out, at a large scale, we are asked to stay put inside our home-caves.
This choice divides people between those who barricade themselves in and those who negate this whole pandemic as an operation of mass distraction and go out without wearing a mask.
How much have we evolved since the Middle Ages when science and technology were maybe dreamed of but never spoken out freely for the fear of being accused of being an eretic and be given to the flames?
Are you an inquisitor or an eretic? Neither of both or both of them?
Crying for our dears who are no longer with us or for the business that we can no longer sustain is natural, expected, human.
What is not natural is to erase hundreds of years of human presence without a little step toward an evolved consciousness and having to realise that we still have a Middle Ages mind.
It is unbearable that after this time a great part of the global population still brings along such a mindset that needs to polirize everything as an EITHER/OR equation in order to find a part to be with.
It is no more affordable to negate and reduce all progress as either a big fake, a way that a few powerful greedy bastards have to manipulate and control humanity OR to exalt science in itself as our only chance to survive.
Neither sides would save us from going back to a Middle Ages mindset unless indifference is banned, awareness is nurtured. Education, solidarity and cooperation become a "must" of the human consciousness.
Nothing will save us from mediocrity unless we can face the responsibility of going beyond fast and well packaged opinions and step toward the common and greater good.
I am not buying the concept of the "poor little me" that have no ways to defend myself from the "dark powerfull forces" or that we are what we produce.
We need to understand the effects of our actions before we take them to ensure that the results we produce are those that we intend.
Without taking responsibility for our daily actions there is no way that we can find a better, greener, more human world tomorrow. There is just no chance.
Transform your home-cave into a boundaryless kingdom of awareness and freedom.
Chose this time of segregation to read good books, educate yourself and deepen your understanding on specific matters that are of interest to you through your own free and independent research. Check the legitimacy of the source of information, as best as you can. Fake news and the overload of information created to push and pull emotional and fragile minds are there to keep the Middles Ages on. When there is too much information, in fact, there is no information.
Go beyond the need to find someone that thinks like you, that says the things that you want to believe. Flattering and indulgence wherever it comes from aims at creating followers not leaders.
Awareness is key and education is a priviledge that can enrich these times of segregation to be ready WHEN we can all go back out from our home-caves to build a new world.
So, the question is: after the pandemic what kind of person will you be?
Hopefully, not the type that is going to push toward another version of the same Middle Ages mindset.
