AFTER WWII (JAPANESE INVASION) IN 1945; DEMOCRATIC ROC/KMT AND COMMUNIST REBEL/CPC STARTED CIVIL WAR IN MAINLAND CHINA. CPC WON 1949 AND FORMED PRC; AND ROC/KMT MOVED TO TAIWAN ISLAND.
United Nations General Assembly Resolution 2758
The United Nations General Assembly Resolution 2758 was passed in response to the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 1668 that required any change in China's representation in the UN be determined by a two-thirds vote referring to Article 18 of the UN Charter. The resolution, passed on 25 October 1971, recognized the People's Republic of China as "the only legitimate representative of China to the United Nations" and removed "the representatives of Chiang Kai-shek" from the United Nations.
THE CIVIL WAR BETWEEN COMMUNISM SOCIALISTIC PRC (CCP OR CPC) AT MAINLAND AND CAPITALISM DEMOCRATIC ROC AT TAIWAN ISLAND IS STILL GOING ON TILL TODAY.
ACCORDING TO NATIONAL FATHER DR. SUN YET-SEN'S CONSTRCTION PLAN, AFTER FIRST STAGE IS VIOLENT (MILITARY) REVOLUTION, SECOND STAGE IS AN AUTOCRATIC TRAINING (PROBATION) STAGE, AND THE FIANL STAGE IS TO FORM A DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM REPUBLIC GOVERNMENT.
CURRENTLY TAIWAN HAS A WESTERN DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT; BUT EXISTENCE OF RELATED WESTERN LIBERALISM HAS GENERATED LOTS OF RADICAL POPULISTS AND LOCALISTS WHO PREFER TO FORM AN INDEPENDENT TAIWAN STATE IN ORDER TO JOIN UN AGAIN AS A NEW NATION.
MAINLAND PRC IS AN AUTOCRATIC BOLSHEVIK SOCIALISM GOVERNMENT. AFTER DENG XIAOPING OPEN DOOR IN 1990 TO HAVE ITS FREE-MARKET ECONOMIC POLICY; IT NOW PRC HAS BECOME A RICH AND STRONG NATION. PRC'S GDP NOW RANKS AS WORLD #2.
IN ORDER TO BUILD DR. SUN YET-SEN'S THE FIANL STAGE "DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM REPUBLIC" GOVERNMENT; BOTH PRC AND ROC MUST TO CAME OUT A REASONABLY WORKABLE PLAN AND PROCESS TO MAKE IT HAPPEN PEACEFULLY TOGETHER.
BEST WAY IN MY MIND IS TO USE THE EAST/WEST GEMANY PROCESS AS MODEL TO COMPLETE THE UNIFICATION.
BOTH PRC AND ROC CAN ALSO LEARN SOMETHING FROM CURRENT POLICAL SYSTEM USED IN SINGAPORE AS WELL.
I was raised in a military family. After WWII, father was a Major General working for National Defense Department as Managing Director of General Affairs (after fought and wound in chest at Shanghai during Japanese invasion war); and then became a Congressman. Both positions were serving Republic of China (ROC) operated by KMT (Chinese People's Party).
2. During civil war with Chinese Communist Party (CCP which then won major big battles and formed PRC at Mainland China in 1949); my family had to follow KMT and ROC moving to Taiwan island.
3. Of cause father knew most of those 1st- and 2nd-generations military generals, politicians, and congressmen at that time in that era (I also know all their names). Some of then were later living in a rich small rural town (Tian-Mu) near Capital Taipei in Taiwan and became our neighbors. I had made friends and become classmates with their kids; some of their kids even went to the same Catholic church with me at Tien-Mu before I went to college (NCKU) in Tainan.

That time he was a neighbor of Lee family; we all living in the Government Official Residential District in Capital Nanking); and later General Heer also was a neighbor just few houses away from Lee family at Tien-Mu, Taipei, Taiwan.
4. After I had finished my PhD degree in USA (at Vanderbilt) and Postdoctoral fellowship training (at Texas A&M), I had worked 32 years for Ethyl/Albemarle (1980-2012) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; during this period, I had had chances to meet Mr./Dr. (honorary) Chen Li-Fu [who used to be General Secretary of KMT (2nd position in party next to General/President Chiang), Chief of National Intelligence Services (functioned as Chinese CIA/FBI); and Minister of Education plus many other key governmental appointments] via his daughter Jenny (Chen) Yu; who was a classmate/roommate with my old sister Kathleen (Lee) Choy during earlier young-girl days at Wesley Women College in NJ.
5. My wife Sheila and me became more close to Chen/Yu families since then; we wrote a poem to celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Chen's Diamond-Wedding.

6. After all, the greatest achievements and establishments of Mr./Dr.(honorary) Chen Li-Fu were not just his earlier services as KMT's party leader, Chief of Intelligence Agent (functioned as Chinese CIA and/or FBI), or whole political career; but (even much more important) were his roles as key educator (during WWII and Japanese invasion war to train all-levels war-time Chinese students), promoter/founder of Chinese medicine science, plus activist/facilitator to rebuild/modernize Chinese Culture and Civilization. ACTUALLY ALL THESE SO-CALLED "SOFT-STRENGTHS" [WHICH CAN ONLY BE DONE BY MAJORITY OF AWAKE CITIZENS WHO ARE POSSESSING BRAVE SENSE, DEEP LOYALTY, BRIGHT VISION (WHICH CAN FORESEE 30+ YEARS), POSITIVE PASSION, CHIVALROUS SPIRITY, AND MISSION-ALIKE REPONSIBILTY] ARE THE MOST TRUE POWERS TO MAKE CHINESE (OR ANY ONE'S) CULTURE AND CIVILIZATION SUSTAINABLE, LAST, FRESH, AND SHINING OVER NEXT 100-200 YEARS.
7. I had had several opportunities to discuss Chinese history, politics, falling Chinese culture, Mainland China's Bolshevik-communism/hybrid-socialism, Deng Xiao-Ping's Free-Market policy, and future of Chinese Civilization with Mr./Dr. (honorary) Chen Li-Fu; as well as to read his published articles and books. It was him who had inspired and encouraged me to re-focus my mind on renaissance to modernize Chinese Culture and Civilization.

8. Talking about 3rd-generation political thinkers and critics, although I'm not the sharpest, smartest, and/or fastest one; however now there are really not so many people who can beat my updated broad (dark side and bright side) knowledges (which including the motives and functions of Anglo, WASP, Western, and Ashkenazi Zionist Cartels, mind-calming/controlling religions, dirty/cruel behaviors of Italian Godfather Don Corleone gangster, global drug dealers, and some evil international secret societies) as well as my over 65 years accumulated seniority (since I have started to understand and sense all those normal and/or abnormal events which have happened around me).
In addition, my elder sister Emma Lee (who is also a Catholic nun) once told me that Mr. Jiang Tze-Ming (Ex President of China and Ex General Secretary of CCP) is one of our "In-Law-Relatives" (come from my mother's side Liao Family (whose hometown is at Yangzhou City, Jiang-Su Province, in China).
9. Because my father used to be a Major General in Army serving ROC in Mainland China and Taiwan; so during my younger days, I dreamed to be a general like him or even Georgy Zhukov and Doug MacArthur. But father wanted me to become a scientist to serve my country and make my living.
After I've grown up and accumulated broader and updated knowledge; my interests have grown beyond just military, war affairs, and now even have grown beyond general science/technology areas. I've started to care and focus more about progression of 4th global industry revolution and next renaissance in China (i.e. workable political systems, quality of Chinese characters, advancement of group cultures, and development of modern civilizations).
