Everyone who has ever written a book or lyrics, painted a picture, created a software program, developed a prototype, composed music, or finished a project knows the feeling. At first, you’re all jazzed up and inspired, and then slowly, you find motivation is lacking and more energy is needed to slog through the mundane parts. Sometimes you lose steam until you hop back on track towards your final destination. Endpoint: a finished product.?
Then the cycle begins all over again. There are promotions, events, conferences, speaking engagements, and even, in some cases, mentoring others. Honors, awards, acknowledgements and all forms of recognition follow from peers, friends, and family. And then what? You must maintain momentum to remain relevant in the market. But how? Here are five tips toward that goal.
Want to know how to keep those embers burning ? ? Book a call with me and I’ll help get your mojo working. To keep mine glowing I found out about the Austin Public Library Book Fair, their first. On May 11th, from 10:00 - 5:00 pm at the Central Library, I will be amongst other local authors conducting a book signing. How cool is that? If you’re in town come on by and say hello. https://austin.bibliocommons.com/list/share/128108121/2516995209
If you’re not in Austin on May 11th, you can always visit Amazon to read about my first memoir Under My Skin - Drama, Trauma & Rock ‘n’ Roll.?
