AFTER FOUR YEARS OF INACTIVITY, I AM EXCITED TO BE BACK WITH AN APPRECIATION POST.

As the Chairperson of the Human Resources Society Teesside University Students' Union (TUSU) , a society where my committee and I oversee 255 members, I would like to extend a big thank you Elizabeth Idowu . Elizabeth Idowu has not only been a great tutor but also a mentor, showing massive support, commitment, and effort in making it possible for over 35 members of our society to attend the June 12th Festival of Work London event .

Colin Powell once said, "There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure." This quote resonates deeply as I recall our discussions and preparations for the event over six months ago. It seemed like a distant future then, but through days of convenience and your busy schedules, Elizabeth Idowu meticulously prepared and checked all documents to ensure as many students as possible could attend. This was a significant milestone for Teesside University students, especially those in the Human Resources Society Teesside University Students' Union (TUSU) , as it was our first time attending the .

On behalf of myself, the committee members, and all members of the Human Resources Society present at this year’s June 12, 2024, Festival of Works CIPD London event , we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your commitment, support, and dedication. Your presence made the trip and event exceedingly successful, surpassing our expectations as students.

Elizabeth Idowu , I know you have always been supportive of my little efforts, and I would recommend Teesside University to recognise your capabilities in major tasks and activities, as I am absolutely confident in your success in any endeavour.

?I would also like to express sincere thanks to Jacqueline Barlow for her kindness and generosity. Her participation and the expertise she shared were invaluable, enriching our experience and inspiring us to engage more deeply at the event.
