After the Board Results

The TN class 12 and class X results (www.tnresults.nic.in) were announced this week. CBSE results will soon be (results.cbse.nic.in, or digilocker.gov.in). Other state board results have been declared or will be declared soon.

To the parents.

This is a time of extreme feelings; happiness, confidence, sadness, anger, frustration, ... Your child is already dealing with a lot. Remember, "This too shall pass" (link)

Completing X or +2 is a major step in one's life journey. The next chapter begins now. Here's a few pointers.

• Don't compare their marks with others' marks. Marks are only speed bumps, not dead ends.
• Discuss their plans with them calmly in light of the current situation. Everyone's journey is unique.
• Seek advice and guidance from those who have done it before; they will know the options available. “It takes a village“ (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It_takes_a_village).
