After 10 years of Digital Marketing, Consumers want to "Skip Ads" !

Following the massive digital media and online marketing invasion on consumers, by flooding them with pop-up ads, social media insertions that are displayed on their screen every now and then, video insertions while they watch YouTube video, etc.... a shift happened in the market as the impact on consumers has been completely changed, which in turn calls for a new approach to attract consumers to buy products and solution.

After a decade of digital advertising, consumers are no longer impressed nor inspired by ads that -most of the time- come at a bad timing, and leave a negative impression on people's minds: 86% of internet users click "Skip Ad" when there is one, or just find the "X" to close any pop up when they can.

The real question now is: How can businesses attract customers in a more friendly way? What do consumer wants today in a digitized and marketed world? Who is the genius who will find the magic recipe to create a brand new model to solve this problem?
