African Union Commission leadership is a commitment to advance the Pan African Ideals!

Congratulations! Minister Moussa Faki, we are so pleased to hear of your victory as the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC). Your victory with a large majority has filled us with immense joy. We take this opportunity to congratulate Ambassador Kwesi Quartey as Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission.

With the same note, we appreciate the service and the commitment of the outgoing Chairperson and the Deputy. We also congratulate all candidates who run to hold office, which shows their commitment and love to the continent, we hope that they will serve the Pan African ideals in different capacity and platform.   

Though using this opportunity we would like to draw your attention that, during this election, even in the past we are noticing that division alongside regional blocks. Such attitude and resemblance will divide our Pan African ideals significantly.

Therefore we call the African Union and the commission to come up with election reform and best mechanism to avoid partition among our regional block rather depend on the merit and the capacity of the individuals.

Finally, we kindly request all elected members to work diligently according to Pan African principles and agenda 2063, we do understand that the multiple challenges ahead of the commision, however if you work hard according to basic principles with the solid commitment you will come out victoriously.
