An African Revolution for Fashion Revolution Day

For today's Source Sunday series I actually want to bring us back to nearly 10 years ago. It was?April 24th?and the?Rana plaza?factory collapse happened in Bangladesh where many fashion retailers you and I know and shop at, manufacture. Today we remember those 1133 lives that were tragically taken that day.

From this tragic event arose the organisation?Fashion Revolution?and the day to remember those lives.

In 2015 on the anniversary of Fashion Revolution Day we at?Africa Fashion Guide?hosted our company annual?Fashion Africa Conference?and titled it?An African Revolution?raising the importance of sourcing ethically so we do not replicate this incident in Africa or anywhere else In the world

It was a full day with multiple talks and sessions and PACKED OUT event!

Our last conference was our 9th year anniversary on?Sept 9th 2019?at the mayor of London’s city hall building and our conference was called?Shift Your Supply?-?Africa Fashions Future

A full day masterclass followed that day with an intimate group of small business owners.
