African Flexi-Furniture Re-imagined

Contributor Charity Bafana-Moyo, Founder & Owner of Crazy Bean Bags - Styra Yacho

Crazy Bean Bags (CBB) has?been manufacturing high-quality flexi-furniture products for over eight?years. Our products are not only stylish and comfortable but also allow our customers to add a dash of color to their homes. We manufacture and supply bean bags, scatter cushions, and kids' character bedding which comes in different styles, shapes, and sizes, as we aim to meet the customer's specifications and imaginations.?

The first-ever crazy bean bag was a colorful?orange and yellow panel, hand-sewn bean bag that I made for my daughter when we moved back to Zimbabwe from South Africa. At this point, our family’s living room was still bare as we were still working on furnishing the house after the move. Because I couldn't find any alternative furniture on the market, I decided to imagine and create flexi-furniture in the form of bean bags which are also an affordable, creative, and comfortable seating option.

What started out as a loving family project has grown into Crazy Bean Bags and our team is now powered by two amazing women who daily and happily meet the needs of our individual and corporate clients every day! And with family connections at the center of Crazy Bean bags values, it drives our personal and passionate business model.

At CBB we engage the customers to provide bean bags in a variety of textures and colors, made from various materials such as?leather,?synthetic fibers, vinyl, and any other?everyday fabric. But that’s not all we make, because we intend to become a contending supplier in Southern Africa of custom soft furnishings such as scatter and knotted cushions, as well as bedding.

Crazy Bean Bags manufactures both indoor and outdoor cushions for homes, offices, hotels, and schools just to mention a few. These provide color and character and set the trend that every room needs to reflect one’s own personal style. Parents can also get the coolest bedding for their kids from our company’s range of character bedding, which includes quality baby & kids duvet sets that suit different children’s spaces and provide a sense of individualism to their rooms. To provide our customers with a wholesome experience we also intend to have a fully functional online store and an authentically African showroom showcasing the various soft seating options, bedding, and curtains.

With family connections at the center of Crazy Bean bags values, it drives our personal and passionate business model.
